Wow, this is amazing.. The power of posting is now in my possession, in my hands. Damn this is some cool stuff. Alright, so first i should introduce myself to anyone who is reading this, if you haven't left the site yet :D So hey, I'm Matas, I am a sixteen year old male creature that lives with his parents. The reason why I said "creature" is because I am pretty sure that I'm not like the other kids. Most of my friends go home, lay back, watch TV, maybe play some games on their PC's. Chill all day, maybe smoke some weed and so on... By now you probably think that I am a narcissist or something. Basically, you could say that I don't watch TV, because my mom thinks its gonna kill me or something. She thinks that watching TV is the purest form of wasting time, and that wasting time is no good. I would love to do that, but i don't, I waste my time slightly differently. Its a boring story, but i'll tell it to you anyways. LATER. IN MY OTHER POST.
I have many hobbies, but there are only few that I enjoy the most. The first on is- Aerial photography. The photo under the blog's title was taken by me, using my special drone (i'll tell you more about the drone later). I have my own site- www.closeupaerial.com and I am a part-owner of CloseUpAerial aerial photography company. My papa owns the other half. Usually I go to the beach on evenings, and fly the drone there, get a little practice. But recently it crashed in my neighbor's backyard, and since then I can't figure out what the error is, because the thing doesn't want to fly :(
My other hobby is art. Well art is a big word, so more specifically I like to draw weird drawings, such as this one. And it's not like you have to have skill for that, it just pops up on the paper. I guess the key is to listen to some good music, and relax. Also, music! Gosh, today people don't know what they're listening to! All that rap and hip hop is making me sick, electronic music such as dubstep annoys me too.. My opinion is that its not music, if it doesn't have normal vocals and REAL instruments playing REAl music. And what I think real music is- Alternative. But not like heavy-ass one, the softened version of alternative rock, maybe mixed with some punk tunes. I love acoustic punk songs, they're just simply beautiful. Those songs kinda inspire me to play piano, and try to recreate at least a fraction of the songs I hear. Anyways, my other form of art that I like is design. Although I'm not too good at it, I love to draw cars. I can't draw today's cars, its too hard for me, but what I like to draw is futuristic, aerodynamic cars, with biiiiig wheels and huge glass cabins.
Now, since I was telling you about cars, this led to another hobby. Its mechanics. Well you could say that, it's not that kind of mechanics where you have to disassemble the toilet and stuff. What i like to do is- to take things apart and then to put them back together if possible. My grandfather back in Lithuania has taught me a lot about fixing and "tuning" cars. I think that I am also ahead of the game with mechanics, because most of my friends aren't able to do things, which are basic to me. I also love cleaning cars. I love to sit in a car that has clean carpets, bright, clean leather seats, shiny panel, clean wheels etc. I don't think that you need big, shiny, wheels; I think that all you need to do is to keep the car exceptionally clean, and it will look nice wherever you go. Personally my favorite car is a 1988 Volkswagen Karmann Cabriolet. its a beautiful, small car with a good engine. A piece of art.
And here is last, but not least hobby of mine. I like playing musical instruments. And I like to sing, although i'm shy to sing in public and stuff, but i do it in the shower, alone at home etc. I play accordion- a wonderful instrument that I got from my grandfather, and brought it to Florida. I also play piano, all those punk rock songs are recreated with it. And I recently started playing with a guitar. I know some basic chords, but that's it. So here's the info about me, and how I waste my time. Hope you enjoy the blog!
